After School Enrichment Clubs
Spring Season - Terms 3 & 4 (January to Easter)
The Autumn Season is currently under way, and all the available club places have been filled.
Our enrichment programme aims to give as many children as possible the opportunity to try out a range of activities - broadening their experiences, sparking new interests and supporting their personal development.
Applications for the Spring Season will be open, via an online form, towards the end of Term 2.
Once we have everyone's requests, we will allocate places as fairly as possible. This means it's not a 'first come, first served' scrum, and we can give priority to children who haven't had a place in a particular club yet. We will do our best to accommodate requests, but some clubs may be over-subscribed.

FAQs
My child loves the club they're in at the moment. Can I apply again?
Yes.
What if there are more applicants than places for a club?
Applicants who weren't in the club in the Autumn Season will have first priority. Remaining places will be filled by drawing names out of a hat.
I have more than one child. How do I apply?
You can apply for up to three children on the same form. We will do our best to allocate siblings’ clubs on the same day.
How long is the Spring Season?
A possible 11 weeks, but the number of sessions and payment arrangements will vary from club to club.
Can I just apply for Term 3?
No, if your child gets a place, it's a commitment for the whole Season (though some providers will take the payment in two instalments).
What if I haven't heard from you about a club place by the deadline?
Your child hasn't got a place in that club for the Spring Season. Try again for the Summer Season

Enrichment v Wrap-around childcare
Our enrichment programme and wrap-around childcare provision serve different purposes:
- The enrichment programme aims to give as many children as possible the opportunity to try out a range of activities - broadening their experiences, sparking new interests and supporting their personal development.
- The Wrap-around provision (Future Stars and Totterdown Children's Community Workshop) is there to help you manage busy schedules by providing a safe, welcoming space for children at the end of the school day. While there are plenty of games and activities to keep children engaged, the main aim is to offer flexible, reliable childcare to support parents' work and family commitments.
