English

Children in Early Years and in KS1 follow the phonics scheme Unlocking Letters and Sounds. We use Ransom decodable, phonic books which follow the progression of this scheme. For more information about Unlocking Letters and Sounds, please check the English part of the website under 'Curriculum'.

Once children are secure with their phonics, KS1 books are book banded according to PM Benchmarking.
